One thing.
Twelve thousand listings.
AMR does exactly one thing: register and maintain business listings on Apple Maps. Founded 2016. One product. 106,600+ listings. We figured we'd lean into the niche.
Why this exists
Apple Maps runs on every iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, HomePod, and CarPlay system on the planet. When someone says "Hey Siri, find me a dentist," Siri queries Apple Maps. If your business isn't listed, you don't show up. No listing, no Siri.
In 2016, most small business owners we talked to had never heard of Apple's Business Connect tool. The few who'd tried it had given up after a rejection or two. So we built AMR to do the boring, fiddly part for them: submit it correctly, the first time, and keep it maintained for as long as the business exists.
About the New Jersey thing
For 9 years our footer said "350 5th Ave, New York, NY." That was a PO box. Some marketing person in 2016 convinced us that a New York address would make customers trust us more. They probably weren't wrong, but it always made us feel a little weird.
We're in Sparta, NJ. We've been in Sparta the whole time. We're going to stop pretending otherwise. We're a Sparta company. If that's a dealbreaker, fair enough — thanks for stopping by.
What we are
We pay Apple's developer fees, learn their portal so you don't have to, and submit listings on behalf of clients. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Apple Inc. Apple®, Apple Maps®, and Siri® are trademarks of Apple Inc.
The mental model: we're like H&R Block. The IRS doesn't employ accountants. The forms are real. Most people would rather pay someone who knows the system than spend a Saturday learning it.
What we charge
One time, paid through Stripe. The number lives on the order form. That's the whole pricing page.
We don't auto-renew, we don't have add-ons, we don't have a "premium" tier where the listing is somehow listed more. We make money the same boring way old-school agencies do: people pay for a service, the service works, they tell other owners. We do adjust the price occasionally — usually nudging it up or down a bit when demand calls for it — but you pay once and that's it. No bills six months later.
If you'd rather DIY, Apple offers what we offer for free at business.apple.com. Truly — please go free if you have the time. We exist for owners who don't, which turns out to be most of them.
Who we are, specifically
A small team. Emma runs customer support — emails, phone calls, the lot. Eve handles listing submissions and maintenance through the Apple Developer portal. Alex runs operations and billing. Jordan handles engineering — including the website you're reading right now.
That's the whole team. We work from home — four laptops in four different bedrooms in NJ. The mailing address is a PO box in Sparta. We don't have an investor deck. We don't have a sales team. The website does the selling.
How we got here
By 2018 we'd listed our 1,000th business. In 2022, we crossed 10,000. As of 2026, we maintain 106,600+ active listings across 50 states and 2 countries. The product hasn't changed: one fee, lifetime maintenance, no subscriptions. We update the website maybe once a year. The boring consistency is, as it turns out, all the marketing we do.
Refunds, disputes, "wait what is this charge"
We have a 24-hour money-back guarantee, no questions asked, before we submit to Apple. After submission, refunds are case-by-case, and we lean generous. Email support@amregistration.com with "Refund" in the subject — same-business-day reply, every weekday.
If you ever feel confused about a charge from AMR — please reach out before disputing with your bank. We will always rather refund a confused customer through Stripe than fight a chargeback.
